Exeter Away: 22nd April

Exeter Away: 22nd April

Postby Keith » Sat Mar 11, 2017 1:12 pm

Mrs F. quite fancies a long weekend away in April. She's always wanted to go to the Eden Project, so we're tentatively thinking, drive down on Friday, hotel in Exeter Friday & Saturday, move a bit closer to Eden Project on the Sunday & Monday nights, then drive back up on Tuesday. But before we decide, we've some important questions that need answering.

Are any of you fellow reds planning a weekender?
Do any of you seasoned travellers have a recommendation for accommodation down there?
To avoid awkward social faux pas, do you put cream or jam on the scone first?

Ta.

So how did that work out then?

Although I live down here I cannot help with the question of accommodation as we do not stay at any but I can help with the last one. In Devon it's cream first then jam and in Cornwall it's the other way around.
Cornish always have to be different.........and they sure are

We normally do jam, but are quite easily pursuaded otherwise
