I am just southeast of Phoenix. It is supposed to be in the 80s (F) here today.

I have been listening for a while. First time I have posted, though.

WOW! Nearly 2-1 then! Could be a very entertaining game if it carries on like this!

I am American. I do not have any personal ties to Morecambe. I have only been following football for 10 years or so. Not much exposure to it before that. I decided I needed teams to follow to really enjoy the sport. I have gravitated to Morecambe over the years, and now I consider them my team. Love the Shrimps, and listen and follow the best I can from here. I enjoy your broadcasts as well.

When I first began following the sport, I knew I wanted to follow the English leagues. I also had to pick a team to follow for the sport to have some heart for me. I wasn't going to pick a team on top, that would be too easy. And I have always enjoyed the lower tiers of professional sports for good, hard play.

I don't know what it was that drew me to Morecambe. I had been watching all of the highlights and other videos from the league 2 teams. I found myself liking Morecambe more and more. It had nothing to do with winning and losing. I don't know, the way the team looked on the field, some of the players I had come to know of, the uniforms, the team name...all played a part. Your broadcasts also are a big part of it. I "see" the matches through you guys. Whatever the case, I decided the Shrimps were my team. I am a loyal sports fan...once I pick a team it is mine for good or bad. So here I am.

Serious question...

If a goalkeeper keeps hold of the ball for too long, how should the offence be dealt with? I can't say I've ever seen a ref actually give anything. Should it, if given, be an indirect free-kick? An indirect free-kick in the penalty area would be quite harsh for holding the ball a few seconds too long?

Now I think about it, I wonder if that is why refs will sometimes yellow card a keeper for 'time wasting' when taking a goal kick, they've been watching the ball holding, so do them for time waisting at a later opportunity rather than implement the letter of the law?

Just wanted to post a word of disgust at the numpties in one of the boxes who laughed and joked all the way through the minute's silence for the dead and injured in the Westminster attack on Wednesday. F**k off back under the stone you crawled out from.

On a positive note, great half time music. :D

Anybody noticed how much instruction is coming from the Mansfield technical area? Don't they know that's counterproductive? ;)

Domain last updated today, expires 22/03/18. Educated guess says someone might have forgotten to renew it.

Their keeper is wasting so much time. 12-15 seconds every time he picks it up. Ref has been useless all game.
