Mr Keith Fitton

Postby Christies Child » Sat Apr 01, 2017 11:27 am

Just a word of thanks to Keith for the time and effort he's put in this last week in dealing with the loss of SVs due to server issues.

He pays for us to have SVs so a big thanks go to him...

:D :D :D

Yes, cheers Keith, I bet it's been a frustrating few days.

Thanks folks for your thanks. And thanks to those people who contacted me directly. Very frustrating few days, but apart from increasingly terse emails to 'support', there wasn't anything for me to do but just wait, same as everyone else.

The server space was paid up until June 2018, so hopefully this is a one off.

I would be happy to make a contribution to your costs Keith , as I am sure would a few other SV's could we not have a sticky post where people could chuck a few bob in via paypal or something?

What's up with you all?
You do realise that he makes so much money out of this caper that he has to live as a tax exile in Tyler Man. I think Keith should be paying us, and if he doesn't, I'll be having words with him in...about......65days and 14 hours.

(edit)......actually, some of that isn't true, I'm sure you can work it out!!(/edit)

Just to add my thanks to Keith for his efforts.

Thanks for the offer of help folks. I'm okay for the tab for SV's and I've used some of the space for other things too. But it would be great if people make [regular] donations to the Shrimps Trust fund, especially if you mark it from you, c/o ShrimpsVoices as an acknowledgement?

It would also be good if some of the people who read but don't post jump in (or jump back in if you used to post) and get the forum moving again. Personally, I don't like posting on Facebook as it doesn't work as a 'forum' simply because too much gets lost too quickly.

My sentiments exactly Keith.

I very, very, very rarely comment on anything on the Facebook page.
