Started well, goal disallowed for us, we looked bright. Then we give away a soft free-kick and they score with an excellent free-kick.

Sounds very quiet.

Leyton beating Hartlepool and Newport getting thrashed. If we can get a draw out of this we are safe.

A good point.

We can still go down if we lose the next three games and the following happen:

Newport have to beat Accrington, Carlisle & Notts County and close seven goals Goal Difference.
AND
Hartlepool must beat Barnet, Cheltenham & Doncaster Rovers
AND
Cheltenham must lose to Hartlepool and get four points from Blackpool & Portsmouth
AND
Yeovil, Crewe & Crawley all pick up at least two points.

So that ain't happening!

Unfortunately, Blackpool scrapped in to the Play Off places, which is a shame, I'd like to see them stay down!

That's a shame we appear to be safe, as we've been mostly shite lately while we haven't been safe, so I guess the last 3 games of the season will be a waste of time with nothing to play for...

We deserved the point in the end, they were disappointing for a team with play-off ambitions. It was another fairly poor game to watch but I don't remember our young keeper making a save. Needs to work on his kicking but hopefully once he sorts his hair out he might push on...

A very poor game that for me neither side impressed. However they where definitely stronger in the tackle and won ever hoof ball in the air, something that I hope our manager next season doesn't repeat.

In the end we just about deserved a draw but for a team chasing a play off place Colchester seemed content with a single goal lead showing very little goal scoring intent throughout the entire 90 minutes.

Rose was without doubt our mom and I dread to think where we would be without him. Just hope that the discussions to offer terms to certain squad members will successfully include him.

Pretty poor game but at least we got something and all but guaranteed another season in the football league. All things considered this is a hell of an achievement.

1400 for a bank holiday fixture with about 300 from Colchester is pretty grim. Boxes looked pretty empty too.

My 24th game this season and seen five wins, five draws and 14 defeats. Another tough season!

Evans changed the game for us, he is the only player capable of carrying the ball and getting at Defenders. Worrying that we lost Wildig early again but it seems his legs are really made from Weetabix! Flemmo was decent but his ability to spin and face his own goal all the time does my head in! He is a forward pass away from becoming a very good player!

A major worry for me is how many teams we have played against where our lads have looked like U16's compared to the muscle bound opposition? I really hope we sign some proper meat heads in the summer and we can compete a bit more next season!
