Court case

When is the court case is it today or tomorrow?

Does anyone think representatives for Diego will even turn up?

Did Diego pay his last lot of legal fees? I am very dubious as no money seems to have been forthcoming at any stage so far!!!

It's today but not sure of times. My info suggests that nobody will be there to represent Diego and that the case is a pure formality. Whether we will have confirmation of the take over by Burnard and Co as a temporary measure today is uncertain but it is more than likely that Burnard's involvement might only be temporary and that a third party ( or is that a fourth party) will ultimately become the club's new owner(s).

Jim's recent demeanour in interviews suggests that he is fully aware of what is happening and that it is more than likely that he'll still be with us next season after another busy and hopefully more successful close season than those of late. :D :D :D

Things have been so quiet recently I had presumed that something had been sorted out behind the scenes and everyone was confident of a good outcome going forward.

Also whatever happened to the fraud investigation did that just go away?

I think, at this moment, all we dare really hope for is some form of new ownership and the survival of the club. Any thoughts of getting new talent in to improve our position in the league must surely be a bit pie in the sky right now. For our own mental health let's take it a step at a time. If we get new owner(s) which means we survive for next season....great. It does not mean that Jim (or anyone else) will have money to tempt good players here.

Survival first folks please.

Port Vales Chairman has resigned and put the Club up for sale. Hopefully this will send some of the leeches their way. Maybe Rod can send him Diego and Josephs phone numbers

Diego Lemos was today ordered to pay £86,000 in costs within 2 weeks or the case will be struck out.

Does that mean we have to wait another two weeks for it to be resolved.

I believe that everything is sorted and that Jimbo is already discussing who he wants to retain.

I doubt the Directors would have delved into their own pockets to develop the Omega unless things like ownership hadn't been resolved.

during the Summer a cover to the rear of the home stand will be constructed.

Have the directors paid out anything yet? Has work started? Will it start before the court case concludes?

I'm sure it will be done, assuming the court and subsequent sale of the shares goes as they hope but it's not over until the fat lady sings and she's still clearing her throat.

That must mean the 2 plots at the front. That would be an improvement to the look of the place if they were developed.

I think he said Abdul had put £1,000,000 in so far which should mean the Summer wages will be covered.

I couldn't tell if he said 1 or 2 million, seems a lot for just keeping us stable for a few months when our annual loss isn't even that.

I'm not quite sure how we can be debt free and wouldn't Abdul want his money back at some point.

Land at the front and the back of the berlin wall for offices/hotel, there was an administrators report on company house apparently saying the pitches are the back are a problem due to building constraints so sounds like you couldn't really build on there.
