Shrimpsplayer subscription

Postby 1953 » Fri Jul 31, 2015 10:29 am

I have been trying to get onto the site which activates my free subscription (secure.player.etc.etc.), as advised on the letter that came with my Season ticket. I have tried quite a few times, only to be met with "cannot find the site" Anyone else having problems?

Details are that the company who run the whole thing on behalf of the Fottball League has changed over the close season, and new details will be needed to enrol. Apparently the correct details have been sent out with season tickets.
The company is called Stream UK, based in Manchester.
Sorry I don't know anymore but have only just got our details through for broadcasting and we need to test them ourselves. As it stands I'm sure it will be working by the start of the season.
The last company some people had problems with different browsers, maybe worth seeing if it's Chrome, or Firefox or whatever that's the problem. Some people could get on IPhones, other said they couldn't!!

You are lucky!

Mine wouldn't renew like it has done for the last ***** years, so I thought I would wait till it ran out and start again.
The day has now come, subscription run out, but it still says welcome back Mark and only wants to take money off me in various ways but not a voucher :?

I have tried the link on the piece of paper (as above), but that just says cant be displayed.

Will try again sometime ...

Edit 10 minutes later after p!$$!ng about..

Thought I would pretend to go through the buying process and hey presto the voucher box appears, but only works if you fill in all your account/card details - Cheeky b@st@ards!

So there is no Free Player subscription for season ticket holders next season.
Will this affect the number of listeners/viewers?
One less here I'm afraid

Same here BUT it affects ALL clubs who have Player as part of their season ticket subs as the owners of Player have changed their rules.

I wonder if this is the time for us to do our own thing as Accy have done for a number of seasons.

When I emailed "Player control" recently regarding my subscription ending earlier than it should've (and they wouldn't extend it to the end of the season despite it being their error!), I was told that they've changed future subscriptions to a month-by-month product, so may be cheaper for some who only listen to certain games they can't get to.

Email from EFL

EFL Digital provide the website and PlayerHD service for the club you support. Throughout May and June we will be moving the club website to a new and improved website platform. As part of that development PlayerHD will become iFollow.

Your subscription will be affected in the following way.

For those users that subscribe on a Monthly basis by Credit Card, Debit Card or Pay Pal:

- No payment will be processed between 3rd of May and 9th of June

- At the point that your club website is relaunched your service will continue under the iFollow brand with all of the same features and benefits as before.

- Your monthly fee of £4.49 will not increase.

The only change you will notice is that with effect from 9th of June, payments will not be collected by FL interactive Ltd. Instead, the name EFL Digital Ltd will appear on your statement.

For those users that subscribe on an Annual basis by Direct Debit:

- No auto renewal of your service will take place when your current subscription expires. No further payments will be taken at that time unless you take a new subscription.

- You will be able to access iFollow on your new club website when it launches.

- At the anniversary date of your initial payment, your subscription will end. At this point you will need to purchase a new iFollow package, the format of which will differ from the traditional Annual membership that you have subscribed to until now.

If you have any questions regarding your contract, you can email iFollow@efl.com.

The terms and conditions for your subscription to the new iFollow service will be available for you to view on the new website and when you login to iFollow after launch.

Many thanks
EFL Digital

3pm kick off rules means we most likely wouldn't be able to watch the majority anyway.

I do hope that with this they will offer the ability to watch a full match after it has played. Highlights are nice but occasionally I do want to watch every minute.

Does anyone know whether our season ticket package for 2017-18 will include free access to Morecambe Player on the new iFollow platform?

Unfortunately it doesn't:

http://www.morecambefc.com//news/article/2016-17/jim-bentley-promotes-season-tickets-3703330.aspx

Season ticket holders have become used to the free PLAYER subscription over the last few years. Unfortunately the EFL are in the process of changing the website platform for the Football Club and have withdrawn the ability to offer this service to our fans. This is entirely out of our control.

With some of our fans experts in multi media let's have a go at doing our own thing.

If Accy can do it then so can we..... :!: :!: :!:

I am hoping that aspers will subscribe to this service, then he can suffer like the rest of us!
Perhaps we could set up a system online whereby he could do live commentary from aussie for those of us who are not at away games.
