£430K not to be sniffed at, but when it's just 2 or 3 weeks wages for a top player you can see why Mr. Holt is making the point

I agree that £430,000 is not to be sniffed at, but why 10 times as much for Championship sides who may have 10 - 30 times the average attendance of Morecambe and Accrington?

I am pleased that Andy Holt has raised this point and hope that it sparks a robust debate that may benefit Morecambe FC in the future.
