Interesting.

Wouldn't mind Thommo coming home.....despite his age but Kevin has been doing the business ( albeit not as consistently as he would like) even though he is 2 years older.

Kevin on the left, Thommo on the right.... :?: :?: :?:

I think Thommo's days as a flying winger are behind him. He's been used more as an out and out striker in recent years.

Even as an out and out striker, I'd still like him to give us one final season....at least. Can never have enough strikers on the books for me... :)

Very surprised at that.

He was seemingly one of their "stars" last season and was on their fans "wish list" to retain.

Unless it's the (alleged) bad influence syndrome coming out again?

I was watching a DVD of one of Morecambe's Football League seasons the other day and Jimmy Spencer scored a few goals for us.

Simon Grand has been: "released by Salford in baffling circumstances.Offered a new contract and said he would mull it over till after the play-offs.Then after they were knocked out of the play-offs the offer was withdrawn without reason and he has left the club."

Former loanee Phil Edwards who played one game for us whilst on a months loan a number of seasons ago, has signed a 2 year deal with Bury making their 3rd close season signing to date.
