The TR fans think he will decline it and move on.

Wigan has been mentioned as a destination for him.

If they didn't offer a contract, he'd have moved for free. They'll have known he was going, this makes sure they get compensation.

Alex Whitmore has been retained by Burnley for at least a futher season.

I doubt that they will allow him to return preferring him to gain experience elsewhere.

Massenka who got some game time with us has returned from his loan at Wrexham. No news as to whether he's been retained or not.

Signed for them in League One, gets relegated and injured, then released when they're promoted back up again. Unlucky...?

Probably earned more in two years at Blackpool than in eight years with us, so not too bad a move? But yes, unlucky.

In addition to the rumours concerning Mullers and Tranmere it's now being reported that Jack Dunn is near to completing a contract also with Tranmere.

Mansfield have now signed at least 10 new players for next season which would suggest that they are throwing a lot of money at trying to buy promotion next season.

Even if Jimbo has some money it won't be that much and it would be very rash to buy in new players before he even knows who is going to sign a new contract and who is not.

Jim has said in the past that he has players in mind who are on his shopping list. If you look at the BBC League 2 site it is you can see how many clubs are signing up players which we are not able to do right now. I wonder how many of these players Jim would have wanted.

Former MFC Midfielder Charlie Bailey who left last close season to join Kendal has joined his brother at Lancaster as they prepare for their first season in a new league after promotion.
