Baz, Rose, Kev, Edwards, Wildig, Kenyon, Mullin and others offered deals.

Agree with all of the above.

This makes a statement, for me, that we now at least have a budget which we should be happy about. Those that thought a new owner coming in and splashing the dosh may be disappointed

I don't think I was expecting any cash splashing !

Just looking at Jim's words it does seem to me that he is intending to be less reliant on the loan market which suggests he has been given a solid if not spectacular budget.

Strange one about Molyneux and Fleming. Surely if they can offer deals out to others why not them who were two very good players for us I thought this season ! I believe Edwards and possibly rose wont re-sign tho !

Very much as expected BUT what we don't know (and quite rightly) are the new terms that they have been offered which in fact may be less than previous.

If Jim was looking to save money( :?: ) then my previous post about Baz and putting his wages towards other areas of the pitch still stands but I accept that that would have been a very unpopular decision but in the circumstances may have been an option.

Like KS I'd be surprised if we see both Rose and Edwards in our colours again and it's possible that Mullers could also decide to move on....

I read the article earlier but your comment made me double check it...

I don't understand why you see this as strange, or where it says they haven't or won't be offered deals.

If kev is offered a new deal then so should Molly, he was a lot better than him this season as was Fleming

Talks ongoing as they have obviously been offered less money , nobody has been offered more money, no surprises at all , nobody will be rushing to sign tneir offers and we won't be buying anyone until we are properly ''owned''.

Very sad to see that Peter's injury is in fact career ending.

Yes, but I still don't see why you think they won't be retained, unless they themselves wish to move on, which would be an entirely different situation.

No surprise on here that I wouldn't offer Fleming anything....as for Molly, too inconsistant for me but by all means a reduced value 12 month contract.... :!: :!:

It all depends what terms they have been offered if big earners aren't performing consistently then they shouldn't just be offered the same again.

For me if Molly is a good earner then he isn't consistent enough to warrant it.

It's like years ago when JH let Terry McFlynn go everyone was up in arms but JH didn't feel like he was justifying his wage.

good news, especially if the players do resign, can't see why not now the long term future his looking better.

and for me Fleming as been to hit and miss in his Morecambe career.

Molly was like a midfield Phil Jevons had the talent but wouldn't put himself about psychically and only looked to up his game in order for a new deal.

just my opinion of course

Just only seen it then pal, sad to see him no doubt he'll get another league 2 club. Hope Jim has a good replacement lined up. Good thing about Molyneux was he could play a few positions!

Fleming offered a new deal  sounds like it's a backwards step to me...just like his play.

Did nothing last season whilst Moly contributed goals at crucial times.

Terrible decision....

I suspect Fleming has accepted reduced terms but Moly wouldn't. If this is the case then I think it's the right decision. Moly has certainly improved from when he came to the club but frankly I think he's only gone from being a poor player to an average player for us.

Good luck Moly and I'm sorry things didn't work out but I wouldn't call it a blow to our club.
