Good morning everyone.

I was hoping to post yesterday but I was literally broken and I have only just been able to put my full weight back on to the soles of my feet due to what I would say are the blisters from hell.

Richard Allan and I finally arrived at Morecambe FC at around 6.20pm on Sunday after what was a physically, and towards the end, mentally gruelling march of 25.1 miles from the Highbury Stadium home of Fleetwood Town FC via the Knott End Ferry over the River Wyre estuary, Knott End, Pilling, Cockerham Sands, Glasson, Conder Green, St. George's Quay in Lancaster, and Morecambe Seafront.

We had taken part in Day 10 of (Unbelievable) Jeff Stelling's 15 day, 400 mile March for Men in aid of Prostate Cancer UK. Unfortunately Richard has had two members of his family succumb to this disease in recent times and he thought it would be a great idea to raise some money to help find a way of beating it for future generations. For my part, I wanted primarily to do my bit to raise funds for this amazing cause but also because I have always enjoyed a challenge and wanted to support Rich in his endeavour and to make sure that Morecambe Football Club was represented on the day.

You will find a report of our experience in the pre-season Matchday programme which is now only just over a month away.

I would like to respectfully ask if you could please make a donation to Prostate Cancer UK via our Just Giving page via the link below:

https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/richard-allan6

We would like to thank many people for their support, notably:

Jeff Stelling
Prostate Cancer UK support crew
Charity Challenge support crew
Fleetwood Town Football Club
Knott End Ferry
Thwaites Golden Ball at Pilling
The Stork Inn at Conder Green
Our fellow walkers
All those who greeted us on arrival
All the wonderful staff at Morecambe Football Club
All of those people that have made donations so far.

A special mention for Mr. Paul Carter and his son Tyler who joined us at Asda for the last few miles of the walk and really helped drive us on to the end. Remarkably you might say, even Christie the Cat made an appearance too.

Finally, thank you for reading my ramblings and please donate on our Just Giving page if you possibly can.

Many thanks.
Steve.

The cat doing a few miles was nothing compared to what you lads done. Once again well done both.

May I say a big thanks to Farney for sorting my feet out at the end, they were Donald Ducked, along with my shin.

I'm amazed I'm back to full fitness today!

Thanks to all that have contributed, with the offline stuff to add we have around £700. Hopefully when people get paid and what not we can get as close to £1000 as possible!
