Loyalty despite last seasons problems

Loyalty despite last seasons problems

Postby Christies Child » Thu Jun 29, 2017 11:03 am

I think our players and in particular those who had the option to go elsewhere at the end of last season following the debacle of non payment of wages deserve a massive pat on their backs for the loyalty that they have shown towards both the club and Jimbo in particular.

It could have been so easy to walk away at the end of their contracts but not a single one of them has mentioned last years problems when signing up again barring Edwards and Mullers who left to progress their careers with so called bigger clubs.

For me this says a lot about how they view both our club and in particular Jimbo and Co.

Well done for your loyalty fellas.... :D :D :D

Agree with the sentiment of this. I think we can accept that Swindon and Plymouth are bigger clubs though, Neil. :D

So called bigger clubs may have bigger debts though.

With crowds of at least 5 times more than ours, they should have better ability to finance the debt though.

Will be interesting to see how Mansfield get on this time with their "L1" squad

Come on Neil, what's going on? Making posts that we can all agree with, sentiment even if not literally? You're losing your touch fella! :D :D :D

I'm sure normal service will soon be resumed!
