Wasn't sure about the away kit at first glance, but now I've seen them clearer, I like both alot. Nice to see we've hit a purple patch before the season's even begun!

What's the plan when we play away at Stevenage, Lincoln, Cheltenham and Exeter? I assume we've got a 3rd kit?

I was thinking exactly the same.
Playing away to a team who play in red and white stripes would clash with either of our strips.

Like the "purple patch" John. Bet you've had that line ready since you heard who the shirt sponcers were going to be!! :D :D :D

As to the concerns when we play away at a red and white striped team, we can simply have the 10 outfield players in the green goalkeeper outfits and the goalkeeper in orange!!! ;) ;) :o :o

No problems.

Honestly, it only sprang to mind once I saw the kit!

As for a 3rd kit, I'm sure there'll be something blue waiting in the wings as usual!

I don't like us wearing blue, unless it is at Wembley!!!
Reminds me of that team across the river.......
What about a nice yellow?

Does anyone else think the purple clashes a bit with the red on the home shirt?

Mind you, can't be helped I suppose given the name and logo of the sponsor!

Expect I'll still be getting one ;)

We had a red home shirt and a white away one in 2009/10 season also. **

(** Edit: 2010/11. See below  )

I think we also had a white away shirt with red trim in our first season at the Globe - 2010-11.

It was 2010/11 mate, yes. I stand corrected - that's the one I was on about. Apologies.

2009/10 I mentioned (last season at Christie) was blue of course.

Would have preferred a kit more of the class and simplicity of Evertons new strip but am sure that it will grow on me.

However that white extended collar on the white shirt is horrendous and would look more in place worn by a preacher in a pulpit.....
