New shirts - sizing

Postby shrimper » Thu Jul 13, 2017 2:45 pm

Evidently you're advised to check the sizes on the new shirts before buying. Some issues are being reported on Facebook, with the sizing of the red ones in particular being a tighter squeeze than the labels would indicate, evidently.

And, also, a difference in the sizes between red and white.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

Angie posted this, which might help, although they do seem rather large if this is the case :?

MACRON REPLICA MEN
SIZE Chest inches..Waist inches
S 36-38 28-30
M 38-40 30-32
L 40-42 32-34
XL 42-44 34-36
XXL 44-46 36-38
3XL 46-48 38-40
4XL 48-50 40-42
5XL 50-52
6XL 52-54

Maybe they grow in the wash

Christie Cat certainly needs a bigger size judging by his appearance after today's game. Poor puss had no allowance for fur, or breathing, at all :D

Did Christie the cat think it was a 5p.m. k.o.? Only appeared for the Trophy (!) presentation! Or is the cat just another glory seeker? :D

Noticed Jimbo not wearing track suit again. Wonder if it's a sizing issue. :?:

Personally prefer to see him out of a track suit looks more professional and more in keeping with his role as manager. ;)

I went to buy a home red shirt from the club shop on Saturday. Took advice to try them on in the fitting room - just as well!

I usually take an XL (all my other replica shirts from the last 14 years or so are XL) - it was too tight. So was the 2XL !

Ended up with a 3XL :o

So I'd definitely recommended trying them on before buying ;)

I found the same. Usually a L but came away with a 2XL home shirt and XL away shirt.

Ha! :D wasn't just me then! Exactly that same scenario. 3XL fits perfectly... well fits like a dress actually, cos it's a bit long, I'll have to tuck it in.

No, not quite as bad. I've gone up 2 sizes for home shirt and one size for the away one.

Ditto! it's actually more the sleeves than the belly.

4xl is the largest in stock, so if you were a 3xl then cut out a few pleasures for a while.

Some muscular bodies won't have many places to hide this season, seen a few already

Bolton who are supplied by macron have 5xl and 6xl so it is possible to get bigger sizes.
