Good luck! Hope it goes well and has decent numbers attending. I look forward to hearing about it.

An enjoyable evening, well done to the Trust for sorting this and to the Panel of Quinny, Thommo, Arron W, Luke J, Chris Squirrel and the ever open speaking Matt Rushton  .

A particular topical subject and good news is that Rod has confirmed that the cover/bar/legends wall will happen this coming season, we can't just do it as it has to go through safety and planning acceptance.
There was a vote to rename the downstairs bar to JB's and it will undergo alterations to cater for affordable food before a match.
Generally the stadium "needs to be made like home"

Finally the message has got through!

We have been telling the club it needs to feel like home since we moved in. Although I imagine trying to do anything at the moment is hard due to restricted funds.

Thanks to those who came tonight.

We have issued membership numbers consistent with a database previously set up so numbers don't tally with total members at this stage.

Positive start tonight but please look out for us over the next few home games to join if you were not able to attend tonight.

An excellent event, thanks to everyone who organised it.
The panel was great - not your usual monosyllabic, stock answers - some really good 'inside' insights about lots of topics of real interest to fans.

Really fascinating to hear about how they galvanised during the months when payments were late - and how Jim was instrumental in keeping the spirit together, not just for the players but also the day to day club staff who also were going without pay.

Good to hear also from Chris Squirrel about how he was hoping to help the players overcome the seemingly regular slump after a good start to the season and from Aaron Wildig about the players being really keen to improve the home form.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

Lol, it's not new news, but it's good to hear it 'officially'
That's all we get though. Abdul seems to prefer to stay out out of the limelight, which personally I feel is a shame

No, Al. I personally think the administrators have been waiting to cash in. In the meantime the Club have shown that we can function without it.
The players would like a gym though.
I seem to remember the facility valued at over £1M , I don't think this will be clawed back, if anything the admin and legal costs will have wiped it out.

All in my opinion obviously

Rod Taylor also talked about economically priced food being available in the Globe Bar on Match Days up until an hour before Kick Off.

A good move in my opinion, especially if run in tandem with drinks promotions on both alcoholic and soft drinks.

Discounts are valid on production of a discount card - which are issued to members - and, unless stated within the terms of the offer, are open to members from when you join the 2017/18 Trust Membership until the next seasons membership is launched (to coincide with the start of the 2018/19 season).

All discounts are subject to availability and change throughout the current membership period - since the membership has been launched, three additional companies have approached the Trust wishing to become discount partners (these will hopefully be announced soon), conversely a partner can choose to leave the scheme or alter their offer at any time. Changes to discounts will be highlighted in monthly members newsletters, but for an up to date list of all current active membership discounts, please check http://shrimpstrust.co.uk/membership/membership-discounts

If anybody reading this has any further questions or would like to become a Shrimps Trust discount partner, please contact the Trust by email: shrimpstrust@gmail.com

Since the Trust launch on Thursday we have had over 125 people join (including people based in places like Canada, China and Texas!), encouragingly a large proportion of these members were not previously members of Fans Club.
