Morecambe v Cheltenham Prediction Competition

Postby Keith » Sun Jul 30, 2017 7:13 pm

Less than a week before it all kicks off again :D

Head says a tough draw, heart says a win. Got to be full of optimism before the first game of the season, so following the heart..

3-1 and Saturday evening full of 'we're going to piss this tinpot league' :D :D :D

because we've got so many new players, I'm hoping they won't have this home form jinx mindset or whatever people wanna call it over them.

think Cheltenham with the first game of the season will be happy just to come away unbeaten and park the bus.

and because we've got plenty of height in the team now and Rose and Brough both good crossers, will beat em, and hopefully put this home form and Jeff Stelling on Sky Sports to bed.

2 - 0

Can see this one being a draw (possibly 0-0) but hoping we can find a scoring boots and win 2-0.

Be surprised if the crowd is much over 1300 (with around 100 from Cheltenham) as its still very much summer holiday season.

Mighty Morecambe 2 - 1 Cheltenham Town

Let's all really get behind Jim, Ken, and the lads on Saturday afternoon and carry them home to victory on a magic carpet of noise. :D

1-1 with Kenyon following his trend of last season vs Town and getting sent off  Hope it's a young lad who gets on the scoresheet to give them some confidence
