Really am pleased about this signing.

Could be another gem in the making and hasn't looked out of place in any of the pre season games. I'd be tempted to throw him in this weekend for his full league debut but Jimbo and Co may prefer to ease him in gradually. Certainly not one for languishing in the reserves.

Great to see father and son connection.

Excellent.

If this is the same lad who wore the No 16 shirt in the preseason games then its a bit of a no-brainer, good in the air, quick and not afraid to get a tackle in.

I think No16 who played in 2 of the pre season games was Brian McLean but suspect that travelling from his Glasgow base was too much plus wages may have been a major problem......could be wrong on all counts though.

There was a fair haired fairly tall young lad who played central defender in a few games but not sure of his name.

McLean was no.21 and I thought was very good. The other lad was the no.16 and was pretty good too.
