I'd love to see Spain win but the krauts have had so much luck on their side getting to the final you can see them nicking it, i'll give a passing thought for my mate in Madrid who'll be ready to 'Siesta' if Spain do it.
When they beat the Russians there was partying in the streets and flags draped out of cars, Tapas will be enjoyed here in downtown Heysham throughout the game and washed down with a nice Rioja he sent me :D FANTASTICOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Tremendous. As Lawro (I think) said, it was suprising the score was only 1-0.

Very glad Spain won it as in IMO they deserved it. They were the best team throughout the whole tournament.

Well done to Spain, thoroughly deserving winners and they were a joy to watch.

I just wish I'd put more than a fiver on them before it started!

Yes - really pleased Spain won. I was a bit worried that Germany were going to grind out a jammy win against the odds in typical teutonic fashion (as usual!). But very pleased that Spain won through - they were the best side in the tournament. And they were overdue a win after being the perennial under-achievers all these years. I think they will be a force to be reckoned with at the next World Cup (unlike England  )

Spain win their 1st trophy in 44 years. Their last one was the Euro Cup in 1964. 2 years after that England won the World Cup - so what will happen in 2 years time? Can England win their 1st trophy in 44 years? Maybe without Motty things will change....More pressure on Capello :!:
Enjoy yourself.... It is later than you think
