Seems to be thought of as a player with potential on their fans website though some question mark as to lack of speed. Thommo must rate him so let's hope he plays to his potential and he might be one we can try for in the next transfer window.

Personally I would have preferred that any funds available should have gone to get a striker in rather than another centre half which now makes it 5 on the books.

However welcome and just hope he gets a grip on scouse sooner rather than later.

Can see him looking towards Thommo and shrugging his shoulder as if to say....' vat is da meaning of Hoof...'

might be that where looking at going 3 at the back all season, with wingbacks providing the width, with Brough who's excellent at crossing a ball and in a way wasted playing L/B, this would give him more of a chance at wing-back to get more crosses into the box for Olivier and Thompson.

However welcome and just hope he gets a grip on scouse sooner rather than later.

it's only took Denmarks Jan Molby at Liverpool a few months to master the Scouce accent. he's actually quite funny, and even jokes about it himself and still as a bit of a twang to this day .

Who does he replace? Old looks like he is to be played in the middle of the 3, Kenyon is making the left side his own and Winnard looks ok on the right side but has a suspect injury record.

Not a massive fan of 3 at the back, I thought Swindon did a bit of a number on us with the wingers and full backs staying very wide. Brough and Lund had very little help and were playing two roles.

Strange how many goals Wycombe have conceded so far this season, yet Ainsworth isn't willing to give him a go? Goes without saying I hope he hits the ground running.

According to the Wycombe fans some see him as an ideal holding midfielder who has good ball skills with an astute eye for a pass and has a physical presence to be ideal in that role.

I've gone on about having some height and physical presence in midfield for ages. I wonder if this guy has been brought in to rectify a problem that has been on going for more than just this season. Sounds to me as though Thommo has had a word in JImbo's ear and the result is this loan signing.

On this issue I totally agree with CC. I have thought also for a long long time that in so many matches in the past few seasons we have been outfought and overrun in midfield.
This has led to so much pressure coming on to the back four and Barry.
It is a real shame because we are often more creative and skilful than some teams but have lost so many games through not being strong enough in this midfield area.
This is why Andy Fleming comes in for criticism, because he plays in that area of the pitch; where I do disagree with CC is that I am a supporter of Fleming who has a variety of roles to perform in midfield, and is a scapegoat for many fans to to point the finger at when things aren't going well.
Will Max Muller be played in midfield?
We shall see.

I reckon Jim reads SVs and that it could well be that Jim's finally taken on board your tactical advice ;)

I think this is a very useful signing. I'm not a fan of three at the back but if we are playing that way, we do need another centre back. And I agree that we need more steel in midfield. This allows Alex to go back into midfield to provide that, or Muller could go in the middle himself to be the 'bruiser', assuming he's not terrible on the ball.

Germans are not thick, their intelligent footballers as a whole from grass roots.

And without seeing him play, I'd go as far as saying and I bet he's already our best footballing defender, who wouldn't look out of place in Midfield doing a job, as Germans do.
