Brough got forward twice at Meadow Lane, Aj once in open play.

It would be nice to think one or other would go forward for more than once every half hour

On the highlights it looked like AJ was at fault with the 2nd goal.

How did Old manage to head the ball gently back to the keeper when he should have scored from a corner !

I'm not a big fan of the whole 3-5-2 fad

I completely agree. The tendency though is to either drop an attacker into midfield or to change personnel, neither of which are the solution IMO!
