Good Ref Watch

Postby Keith » Sun Sep 17, 2017 7:37 am

Darren Drysdale had a really good game yesterday & the ref at Yeovil did well too. What's going on??? Two good refereeing performances on the trot???

It'll never last!

And another good one!

Perhaps we should have been naming them

Quite a good run of decent refs, long may it continue.

Some refs may have given us the penalty that looked 'nailed on' in the second 45 which lead to Jimbo complaining quite forcefully to the 4 th official...unlike their manager who 'really' lost it on numerous occasions....acting more like a petulant schoolboy than a professional football manager.

Not bad. Thought their keeper should have gone for a vicious, 'out of control' "tackle" that led to us going down to ten men, but by then the game was lost anyway. Not sure how he could give a yellow at that point. Other than that, he tried to let the game flow and was generally on top of things.

Yep, he seemed to get most things right and also seemed to be trying to explain his decisions to the players. Dealt well with the occasional flare up as well.
