And yet Coleman and Bell spend 90 minutes in the 4th officials ear and they get more decisions than us.

was gonna post along these lines earlier, it seems to work more for other teams when playing us, if anything I'd say where too soft, wish the Globe was more intimidating.

Enough is enough time for the manager and his assistant to go ,he has been given the resources he asked for and it hasnt made a difference to the way he has them playing ,Ihave always thought a lot about jim but the commiment from his players is not there and the tactics are back in a rut sorry jim but many agree that time is up

I think it's fair to say that Harry Kewell was giving the fourth official
a fair Aussie ear-bashing as well

He contributes far more than most players over the course of a season and without him we probably wouldn't have made it to ten years in the Football League. The only other time I can remember him getting sent off was away at Cheltenham when he was attacked first so to call him a 'liability' is ridiculous.

He didn't let us down once. Crawley wouldn't have scored the corner if he'd been where he should be, i.e. on the near post - as it was, he was faffing about and the ball went a few inches over his head which he could and should have headed to safety! As for the rest of the game until the sending off, he did nothing, barely touched the ball.

He may be our top scorer, but given he's probably the highest paid, Jim could have probably got someone better for that money who'd have scored as many, if not more! Yes, a previous sending off was where he got caught out pulling someone's hair! Sorry, unforgivable. He thinks he is some kind of superstar and spends more time winding up the fans and opposition players than concentrating on the game. In my opinion, he is a liability and it's got to be his last season, preferably playing off the bench as an impact sub.

I was behind the goal and it skimmed off Kev's head otherwise Baz was punching it out.

Like on Facebook - a couple of regular posters who basically say "if you don't like it, don't bother coming".

Well, duh! that's exactly what a few hundred people have done and why we're averaging attendances down to just 1,200 when we were closer to 1,800 just 4 or 5 years ago. That's a drop of a third! It's why the club is losing several hundred thousand pounds per year! It's why hospitality has been virtually empty most of the season to date.

Loyalty is no substitution for ability. As Einstein said, doing the same things and expecting different outcomes is insanity. Something has got to change. If Jim can't do it, then someone else needs to be given the chance.

All these people saying we need more money, the directors need to pay something in, we need a buyer who can splash the cash, etc. You're in cloud cuckoo land. Someone on FB was saying they expected the club to sell for £4.5m! What planet is he on? Why on Earth would anyone pay that kind of money into a club with a tiny fanbase? People buying footie clubs do so for a reason - either advertising or contacts - with Morecambe, they'd get neither. Time to face reality. There's no one coming to invest millions into the club. We have to fight our own way out of this problem and part of that is getting fan numbers rising again which not only brings in gate and pie income, it also makes it more attractive for sponsors, etc. Need to stop wasting time on hoping for some rich bloke to put in millions start to build the club up again based on regular supporters. First thing first is to stop the rot and stop telling people that if they don't like the dross being served up, they shouldn't bother coming!!

It's the usual suspects who are forever saying this...Usually the one's who don't actually pay to get in. Might be different if they were spending their hard earned cash to watch that crap week in week out.

Well I wouldn't name names, but you're clearly thinking of the same people I was referring to! Not just not paying to watch, but in at least 1 case, being paid for their services to come to The Globe! So not particularly unbiased are they?

I am glad these people do not run the club. Telling paying customers to stay away if they dare to expect better or are worried by the product on offer. These people will have their freebie moment in the sun when sleep walk back to non league obscurity.

As for upsetting people who do not share my views, give your head a wobble John.

Trouble was we did have a couple of people with that attitude who were running the club until a year or so ago!! Thank goodness, that we have Rod and a few other Board members (and a couple of ex board members) who are trying to keep things ticking over and have a much better attitude and appear to be trying to move towards a sustainability model starting with JB's bar to keep the fans we have and hopefully start to increase the fan base again. But, without entertainment on the pitch, it won't be enough.

Correct. Our core business is football. If the team are playing entertaining football and winning some if not all the games then everything else falls into place. Gates go up , hospitality goes up , people feel more inclined to stay on after the match and enjoy a drink in the new bar , sales of replica shirts and other merchandise go up.
At the moment I dread home games coming round as each one seems like a war of attrition , going for a clean sheet and hoping to nick something to hang on to.

It appears that the frustrations are getting to all of us. Its not been a happy few weeks as we keep losing.
Dread is never far away at the Globe it would seem, it appears that we shoot ourselves in the foot weekly at least once these days.
The crumbs of comfort were the attitude on Saturday when we went down to ten which was excellent, the crowd were absolutely superb and must have helped, loads of noise and really got behind the lads and the positive of putting two up top second half, which did make a difference. Give somebody a free run to join Vadaine, maybe Thommo, McGurk or Campbell perhaps though Turner linked in well late on. We may as well attack as we always look likely to concede, can we try and score more than the opposition?

Rather lose 3-2 having a go, but that's just me.

I hope Turner gets a run of starts , things looked better when he came on against Crawley and he has a bit of pace. McGowan coming on too seemed to make things happen.

Didn't he get sent off one home game for pulling someone's hair?

Wasn't Kev and Edwards sent off in the tunnel after the game for pulling hair and other mischief! Whose hair was being pulled?

Wow, you really are quite a troll behind your keyboard! It's remarks like yours that makes these forums a sour place. How about leaving the popcorn in the cupboard and having a decent discussion with parkyboy instead of being, as I said, condescending (not upsetting).

peoples opinions on here are no different to what you hear on the terrace, bars or at work or that fans group on Facebook.

times I've seen our fans arguing nearly fighting with each other, on match days or in bars later on, we've become a lot like Arsenal with how fans are falling out with each over Wenger .
