Port Vale predictions, another 6 pointer!

Postby George Dawes » Sat Oct 14, 2017 6:32 pm

Port Vale won today and are now on 8 points and will look to close the gap on us, who are now on 13 points.

I always go on about being more attacking at home, but I think I'd be happy with a point, stops them closing the gap.

Forest Green look doomed, but who's gonna join them? Chesterfield potentially at this level can buy their way out of trouble as can Port Vale, aslong as its not us.

Trouble is, Forest Green can buy there way out of trouble too!

I agree with you, it is another six pointer and I'd also be happy to grind out a draw. Port Vale are surely too big to be so low down? Will they be gelling now after a confidence boost today? But then, will we?

I may change my mind before Tuesday night but I'm also going to go 1-1 too.

How anyone can talk of relegation candidates at such an early part of the season beats me.....

It's because ( probably) we havnt had our usual great start being in the top 7 and hitting top spot in the first 2 months, then we historically go to sh!t in December onwards.... without these starts over the years we would have been doomed regularly.

This season, we play catch up during the months we are usually crap...

1.0 loss

Because it is too soon to be talking about our promotion push!

Don't you know, we're either going to get promoted or relegated until it is mathematically impossible to do so?

I was talking generally NOT specifically about us......because we all know we'll finish mid table... :o ;)

Although we got a positive result on the weekend , albeit a slightly poor performance, I'm going for a 1-2 loss. :(

I'll take another 2-0 Shrimps win and don't care who scores them!

Mrs Sak feels we won't keep a clean sheet, I can't think why :? 2-1 Shrimps.

Struggling whether to predict a draw or win. I know what we are like at home against the sides not in form.

1-1
