Phew, thank goodness! Freez would have dinned out for years on correctly predicting the score AND both goal scorers!

Deffo Thomo's goal , it just happened to glance off McGurk and didn't change direction . Couldn't pick any outfield player who had a good game but Barry was our saviour on several occasions with some outstanding saves. We've played much better than we did yesterday and come away with nothing , swings and roundabouts i suppose.

Just watched the highlights on the OWS ....looks to me as though we didn't win many tackles or 50 50 balls....but we won despite what looked to be a below par performance.

Must improve our combativity for another 6 pointer v Port Vale on Tuesday.

Who was awarded the 2nd goal against Newport that glanced off Kevin ?

If it glanced off McGurk it’s definitely his goal! Even if thommo’s header was going in it’s still McGurks goal.

Whilst i was at the game i went off the reaction of Thommo who celebrated like he had just scored and all the other players who reacted like Thommo had scored also . Its only when you have the luxury of seeing the highlights that you can see it touched McGurk .
As for the goal against Newport i would have given it to Campbell as i don't think he's going to get credited with many goals this season but as it came off Kev's arm it should have been disallowed for handball.
