Very sad news, a Morecambe fan who was a legend through and through. Many happy memories..
His crap jokes will go down in history, keep smiling Geoff and don't give the angels too much stick.

There is talk of having applause in the 68th/69th minute tonight.

A lovely man. Truly lovely.

He always made the time to stand and have a chat with me.

I had so much respect for him.

So many happy memories of our cheerful friend. A genuinely lovely person whose loss will leave an irreplaceable hole in the lives of everyone who had the pleasure to get to know him. Sleep well, Geoff, we'll never forget you.

Agree totally , we should have some sort of tribute to Goeff but it needs communicating around the ground so we are unanimous in the tribute for this sad loss

The funeral is on Monday 30th October. 2pm at the crematorium followed by a wake in the George at 3pm. Football shirts welcome, incl Man City and Preston
