Probably too late to do this and probably not allowed to do it either but this match could have been made free like the Dagenham match a few years ago. Give tickets away in every school in the district for children and adults to attend free. Depending on what happens on the pitch it could bring a few more back into the fold.

Exactly which is why there is very little cost in letting punters in free and the sale of pies and beer etc from a bigger attendance would probably cover any loss of a very small ticket revenue.

It won't happen but it might have been a way of some people finding their way back to The Globe.

If they did, any chance they'd cast the net a bit wider and provide the "out of town" schools with tickets too, such as the Lancaster schools, Carnforth, Dallam, QES - looking at all the school buses leaving Morecambe every morning, there must be far more Morecambe/Heysham kids going to schools outside town than those going to Mcbe & Heysham High. Same with the slightly further out primaries, such as Slyne, Carnforth, Lancaster North, etc. - there are plenty of parents living in Morecambe who drive their kids to primaries a bit further out.

Not totally pointless... there is a chance we can progress if we beat them and Fleetwood beat Carlisle by suitable scorelines to affect the goal difference!
