Complete and utter rubbish....!!
1.Leeds United
2. Huddersfield Town
3. Leeds & Huddersfield
As for Morecambe, i for one am bouyed by Morecambe's recent successes in gaining league status, and doing well last year....like every club, including Bradford you have your fair share of muppet's that talk a good talk on a message board but nothing more.
Im suprised by the arguments that take place on here between Morecambe and BCFC fan's, Morecambe is supposed to be Bradford by the sea...!! You'd think we would get on lol....
In all fairness most BCFC fans are loyal to the end, and will defend the cause no matter what, and where ever you have a large following your always going to get idiots who frequent message boards proclaiming to know everything.....sign of the times i guess.
Im really looking forward to the game at Christie Park, not so sure about the North Stand being given to us, although i gotta say if we are there or there abouts, the crowd will definately be swelled in every area of the ground, back in 86, we went to Hull and so many fans turned up the police made them swap ends...!! footage on you tube for those interested...!
Anyway with performances like we had against Barnet, we wont be anywhere near....and next year i'll have another home game to travel to......at Christie Park....
Cracking result at Aldershot..

He seemed to think it was financially not sound....to be honest i disagree, and think something along similar lines could benefit Morecambe in getting more peeps through the gates.

Aside from the fact that he is clearly a very astute and successful businessman, the strategy Bradford currently employ does not appear to have elevated them out of this league yet. You appear to offer advice based along the lines of what BCFC are doing. Your biased view on everything Bradford comes to the fore and you hold the club up in gargantuan praise for the way they operate. Yes you get 12,000 to come and watch you, but that's a pin prick in Bradford's population. I don't think a similar scheme of short-selling season tickets in the hope to attract more fans would work at Morecambe, we already offer the cheapest tickets in the FL. Our fanbase will increase naturally over time, as we gain a history and pedigree like Bradford of being a FL club.
Lets not beat around the bush, BCFC are an absolute shambles. The mere fact that they currently play in the bottom rung of the Football League is an absolute embarrassment for the club and city. To compare a city and club the size of Bradford and their history of being a FL team to Morecambe is a joke, but the funny part of the joke is the fact that the clubs currently are comparable; on the pitch at least. So why would we listen to anything Bradford say or are doing? Whilst the marketing of our club often leaves a lot to be desired, there are countless other clubs I would rather we replicate over Bradford. Not only because there model and circumstances would be a closer fit to the limitations at Morecambe FC, but because I don't view Bradford as a success at all.

It's not your fault, its the ongoing development of the frontal cortex which results in irrational behaviour in teenage years and an apparent regression in reasoning skills during this period...
Guess who is on day one of a two day Acquired Brain Injury course?
Incidentally, this development of the brain during this period is why cannabis is such a dangerous drug, that can cause schizophrenia and other life long mental health problems if used during teenage years, while it is a relatively safe drug when used at other periods of lifetime.

Sorted, can I quote you in court in Keith?

To be fair they should be at the top of Div 1 or mid table championship.
I say we embrace our Yorkshire cousens, If they are going to bring 3-4 thousand then give em the bloody tickets and you lot can sit/stand anywhere, its only for 1 game and think of the money we'd make.
Not to mention me old mate Sgt major and the amount of ale and food he'd sell. (Might have to prise the ale money from em)
Bradford are a good team, a set of good lads/lasses (I should know re the latter ), the only thing wrong with em is that they have the White Rose as an emblem.
RedRedWine wrote:Perhaps I was being overly harsh, but the way I read it (along with most of BCFC fans messages on here) is "this is what Bradford do, why don't you do it". Perhaps a sign of my adolescence, I hate being told what to do. Clearly the board have been very successful thus far; I don't think they need that much advice from anybody.
If you gave away free season tickets I don't think we'd sell out, a sad but harsh truth. If we sold season tickets at say £150 how many people do you think would realistically buy them? We may attract some floaters but I don't think we'd attract enough fans to compensate for money we lose off everyone elses ticket reduction. I'm only guessing, but so is everybody else. How many season ticket holdes do we currently have?
