Ah Rhyl FC .......

Belle Vue......... the memories come flooding back of 2 games I went to there.

1989/90. Colwyn Bay used Rhyl FC as their home ground due to FA of Wales (strange) regulations. We played them in the FA Cup and got walloped 4-0.

A few weeks later we revisited them to actually play v Rhyl and got another tubbing to the tune of 4-0.

However, in the bar after the game Bryan Griffiths managed to get the signatures of Rhyl's Robbie Armstrong and Gary Dullaghan on Morecambe contracts so all was well in the end..... ;)

I understand that we won 1-0 thanks to a penalty.
