Just been reading about him, he is one of 6 former Hartlepool players to come to us.

LOL, .....Interestingly I spoke to Gerry yesterday , he was in fact signed by Geoff Twentyman for us, Geoff was appointed manager rather than another applicant, a certaln Brian Clough!,, Geoff went on to manage Hartlepool UTD, where he ended up being replaced by.......Cloughie!!

Oh for a striker like Cole! :(

He seems to be frozen out at Hearts having played only 6 games this season.

He could be injured but I'd love it if we could get him back in January if only on loan as he would certainly prove an asset to our squad given the lack of goals so far this terrible season.

Howver I doubt it will happen as his wages would make it almost impossible for us to even contemplate such a loan.

:( :( :(

Cole Stockton's wages would be a cheaper option than relegation and the loss of the Football League's money.

But if the problem, as has been said elsewhere, is service, not finishing, what difference would he make?

I don't know if he has been injured, but he came off the bench last week for his first appearance since the end of August, so possibly has been injured and now coming back?

Cole was part of the team with exactly the same midfield last season as this.

Playing him alongside Adam would be a great partnership.....in my opinion.

Maybe even alongside Vadine with Adam just behind the two of them which could be more effective :?:
