Wages

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere a d I've missed it? But what the hell is going On? I thought Abdul had guaranteed funds for the next 2 years? Why are there rumours of them not being paid or other directors paying them?

Confused

Think there was a misunderstanding as Rod Taylor has stated that all wages have been paid by the due date, so I don't see any problem.

There has been speculation circulating about the possible non-payment of staff wages today but we can confirm that all employees' wages were paid today, 28/10/17, as due. This was achieved by the work put in over the past two days by the directors and the financial support of some members of the current Board.

The above quote from yesterday official quote suggests to me that there was indeed a problem with wages that the board had to resolve... should this not have been from Abdul? As I said above he guaranteed us security for the next two years

He guaranteed that the club was secure ,to the FL, not to the fans, presumably all clubs make such promises , just words, his lack of interest in the club and desperation to get rid, is blindingly obvious.

Although without his support since January we might have been playing Bamber Bridge and Kendal Town this season in the division below Lancaster

Just wish we could all stop this speculation about the wages sitiation, after all Rod ( who i assume we ALL have faith in) has publically stated that there was no problem. It is quite right for the Directors to assist with payments rather than leave all payments the responsibility of Abdul.

What should be of more concern is that there has be no denial of a further approach by Cala.

When did it become right for appointed directors who don’t own a company to start paying the bills?

Maybe you should all concentrate on the possibility of Cala making another move.

I hope that the Turst have made it's position clear regarding Cala but in truth there is sod all that we the fans can do....other than be vocal in our outright opposition.
