No-one even looks like scoring. In fact, even a shot on target.

Good build up, movement and transition today. Finishing, obviously lacking. Defending set pieces and dead ball situations atrocious. There's a good core to build off of, just need the right players.

Regardless of what happens off the pitch, if Jimbo sticks to his defence first approach it's going to be a long season. FGR had lost their last 5 leagues games at home before today yet we start with players like Ellison, Thommo (comes on at 2-0 down with 16 minutes left), Osborne and Lang all on the bench.

It's not working Jimbo!!!

basically showing FGR the respect you'd give playing Real Madrid in away leg in the champions league, just happy to snatch a goal.

watching the U17 World Cup final, and England have just levelled 2-2 with Spain after being 2-0 down

Totally agree. We can't keep a clean sheet, so stop trying and concentrate on actually scoring. If we set up for a clean sheet next week against Hartlepool, they'll knock us out of the FA Cup, then we can concentrate on being relegated.

FFS Jim, get them all practicing shooting during the week.
Relegation six pointer and we go for a 0-0    They've scored more than we've shot. And they are crap too.

Jim is a one trick pony. We must be the easiest team to play against in the League.

What on Earth do Osborne and Lang have to do to get on the pitch? It's not working, it hasn't worked all season, but Jim keeps on doing the same?????????

Steve said in the commentary summary, "they are not a bad side". I think they are, it is just that we made them look good. We didn't run at them, we either passed backwards or hoofed it and we let them play. They were second from bottom before today and we gave them far too much respect, allowing them to grow in confidence.

Now we're second bottom, do you think any team in League Two will give us so much respect?

Very, very poor.

England now 3-2 up against Spain, wish we'd play with the same attacking attitude, against an opponent with more skill and possession.

not sitting back either, where going for em, you score 2 we'll score 3

Its the same every game Keith, we start the stronger side and slowly but surely we let the opposition get into the game and they get one chance and score . Port Vale being a prime example . :(

P.S. That was an utterly piss poor performance. At least Kev and Thommo made a decent effort when they came on and Barry can be excused after his injury. Plenty more games to save our season but will it happen?

I was one who praised Jim for keeping us up last year but it is crystal clear that, for all the fans talk of changing our style and becoming more attacking, Jim is incapable of change his views. There was just one period last season when we were going forward more and scoring goals but I remember even after a win Jim was talking about clean sheets and immediately we gave up the attacking option for defence no matter who the opposition was. He is incapable of taking the attitude 'if you score 2 we'll score 3'.
