and an interesting bit of trivia, Morecambe Central Pier was for sale once for a £1 after the first fire when had been partly burnt, aslong as you repaired it, iconic for seaside resorts.

So if you bought say, dunno , a large business for a pound, like errr Focus on westgate , and it went bust , You could sell the place to Home bargains and make a fortune ???

The Queen Vic in Albert Square is facing closure too, I wonder if that could be bought for a pound.

That's just buying the land the failed business is on really, then knocking it down and building something new on the same site, like erm a housing estate! :o

without doubt the best value for a £1 is pick a mix at poundland in Lancaster. Not only is this about £15 cheaper than vue cinema. They let you fill it up with fudge

I have been thinking for a while that it is time the manager of Vue was sacked. His poor product placement of Malteasers and consistently putting the same staff on during the busiest periods is a joke!

I am not going back until he is fired! REEL all the way for me!
