Anyone remember that replay away in the first round of the FA Cup at Emley?
Kenny Takano scored, we lost 4-3 in extra time?
I used to have picture of the home stand name plaque, long lost now.
The home seats were sensational, as it was called The Alex Hardy Stand!!! :D

I remember it mainly because as we scored our 3rd goal the home fans (mainly Barnsley ones) drifted off into the night over the field, then came runnng back to watch the penalties! Didn't one of our players run his car over a small wall in their car park? :D

Barnsley's greatest player in my lifetime hence the large number of Reds fans, also a lot of Hudds Town fans, remember the night well, as Barnsley fans we were still on a high after beating Liverpool at Anfield on the Saturday...and what a ground wasn't it

Bump !

Just a reminder about this Thursday night at JBs for the Book Launch of "When Rock Went To College"

Really looking forward to hearing all the rock reminiscences with Barry Lucas ( He always finds even more new ones !)

We will also be also playing tracks from all the major - and some minor - artists between 1969 & 1984 so come down for a beer and a load of nostalgia

You can buy the book at a reduced price too - ideal Christmas present for Rock fans !
Def not to be missed

On Radio Lancashire right now. It might be on catch up later?

Lancaster was his sixth choice university!
“Britain faces a simple and inescapable choice - stability and strong Government with me, or chaos with Ed Miliband: ".

David Cameron. May 4th 2015.
So how did that work out then?
