Listened to game on Radio Cumbria who made comments pre match about how we fail to pay wages and operating under a cloud. BOLLOCKS...

The best way to answer them was to get a result and to Radio Cumbria's credit they felt we did enough to have won the game. Evidently their manager complained pre match about how Luton's budget was far way above Carlisle's...have we got news for few...

Pleased with the draw but once again a result without Vadine starting..makes you think doesn't it.. :?:

Looking at the table it's typical L2, like leapfrog, 2 or 3 back to back wins and your right up there again.

Can't believe we subbed McGurk for Thommo when all we had heard was Kev messing up time after time .

Seen a let of these comments, don't think it's fair, it's just our formation doesn't suit him.

With players like Oliver and his height, you need widemen getting in proper crosses going across the face of goal for him to attack, playing to his stenghs, not just long balls when his backs to goal.

Thought we played well, certainly much better than on Tuesday. The penalty miss obviously cost us dearly but that doesn't detract from a pretty decent performance. Keep playing like that and we'll turn things around. Play like Tuesday and we're screwed. Who knows how we will play next week!

You were unlucky not to win to be honest. Was surprised that Campbell took the penalty and not Ellison.

You played some nice quick passing football at times, but like a lot of the teams down the bottom end you are missing the money for quality at the top end of the pitch.

You did miss a lot of chances, couple of good strikers and you'd have won by two or three.

Carlisle's manager said during his post match Radio o Cumbria interview that he's c onsidering reporting whoever he felt took a dive for our penalty. He felt that if one of their players received a ban for diving it's quite right and proper that our player received a similar ban. Bollocks....

It's typical of Curle to react like this after all he complained that Luton had a bigger budget than Carlisle's the other night, hence the defeat. I've got news for you Dicko Head...you should have our budget.

He also felt that our defence is the weak part of out team, despite it being the 8th best defence in the league. He also sees our attack as be ING dangerous. What planet is this guy on....

Thankfully Radio Cumbria reported the game accurately and felt we should have won.

I thought we played really well against a poor Carlisle side and were unlucky not to win.

I was about 20 yards away from the penalty (in the executive box)incident and it was 100% correct decision

The performance will be seen as a massive success from the 356 in the away end, and the others in hospitality, never mind the management.

And BBC.

Usually the same person doing both updates I think.

Having just watched the highlights on Channel 5, it was definitely Old who scored, despite the reporter also saying it was Thommo, who was nearby but not involved!

It was the home BBC Cumbria who reported it as Thommo, the ground announcer, Bay, Lancs and IFollow all had it correctly as Old.
Dunno, where Thommo came from? Strange one.

Assuming Freeze's figure of 356 away fans at the game is correct, that would mean that somewhere in the region of 40% of Morecambe fans that were at The Globe to watch Crewe, made the journey. An incredible percentage. Just a shame the fans base isn't larger. Imagine if we had 2500 regularly watching games at The Globe, and then taking 1000 fans (40%) to an away game.

Well done to those fans that made the journey. Just a pity that the improved performance didn't get the 3 points. Shooting practice as part of this week's training???????

Yes, we'd be self sufficient, and wouldn't have to worry about going bust.

I wonder how we'd go about increasing attendances, lets all help and make a list of solutions, then any new owners can address them? seeing the previous one's failed.

I would find a place in a car to bring both him and his mate Miller back to The Globe. Miller scored more league goals in one month (7 in October 2015) than he has scored in 18 months at Carlisle.

Not for me. He's undoubtedly a good player but I'd rather get some real pace in over his brand of twiglike creativity. Another Barkhuizen would be lovely :)

Interestingly both the Crewe goal and the Carlisle goal came about (in my opinion) by our defenders allowing the goal scorers too much space and from roughly a similar position in each case.

It's not the first time this has happened this season and questions if our defensive midfielders are doing their roles properly.
