O/T 2018 Calendar

About time we did something like this. Maybe not as grand but could be a nice little money earner for the club.

The problem with that is that by the time May rolls around pretty much all the players will have left!

True....but we can always find an excuse not to do something. ;)

Even a selection of close up action shots would be suffice.... in my opinion

I would think we are concentrating on week by week, never mind 2018.

I think something would have been heard by now if they had failed to be paid on time. :o :o

I did suggest a season-long calendar a while back, akin to an academic diary, that almost guarantees every player to still be at the club and include fixtures in it, but Mark S just laughed at the idea...

Just the reaction one would have expected. It was the same with the towels when it was suggested some time ago.

Thankfully he's moved on and the towels at least have been delivered and are a success I understand.

As for the calendars, maybe something can be done by fans after gaining the Boards approval. They could still be available prior to our Boxing Day home game with a bit of effort and the cooperation of a local printer.

Having only posted around a dozen times in the last 5 years, not sure if you are mixing me up with someone else?

I don't remember ever caring one way or another about calendars.

If I did laugh at this suggestion and clearly hurt your feelings so bad that you bear a grudge over 5 years, I sincerely apologise, but I don't think I did John. Maybe you could offer evidence?

I did mean that light-heartedly so no worries! I just remember it and it was a few years ago. ;)

WOW! Obviously a sharp stick that you poked Mark with, John! Well done! Someone must have reposted the message on Facebook! I thought he'd have been more upset by being mistaken for Mark Dixon?

Would have been a bit crude without towels.

Whether he has or hasn’t is that important...what I guess is more important how well they are doing in general. How many have sold and is there a net profit?

All the hard work and getting private finance sorted before the club took it on board was certainly worth it judging the feed back to date.
