Whether he has or hasn’t is that important...what I guess is more important how well they are doing in general. How many have sold and is there a net profit?

All the hard work and getting private finance sorted before the club took it on board was certainly worth it judging the feed back to date.

I think you'll find that every towel sold has provided the total purchase cost going into club funds, as the project was financed without any cost to the club.

From my perspective that's a brilliant deal.

My understanding, based purely on posts on shrimpsvoices, was that the outlay for the initial purchase of the towels was funded from outside the club. Are you saying this was in the form of a donation rather than a loan? Generous either way, but especially so if it was a donation.

However, if the club can only turn a profit on a new line when they are given merchandise effectively for free, it shows that they cannot speculate on items where many may remain unsold.

They were not all sold PC.....and the director who financed it is out of pocket, I have been selling them at the Bayside emporium and have some left if anyone wants one.

I may have been the catalyst but all the work in its production has been down to the excellent work of the Shrimps Trust and a number of its members.

Not sure if RedRedWine reads SVs anymore so if anybody knows his e-mail address would they please let Steve know that I've sent him a PM regarding the Calendar.

Cheers
