Sponsored bricks in the North Stand.

I'm outraged and furious that the bricks were just smashed up with
No thought to the people who invested their hard earned money
Into buying said brick!!!
I demand a royal commission into the great Christie brick carnage.
Why couldn't they dismantle the rocks and put them into The Doc's head!!
Oh hang on!!!
Mr The Doc, I really enjoy reading your match reports, they are articulate
Informative and I believe fair as!
However, if the great brick saga is your foray into investigative journalism,
May I respectfully suggest you give ballet a try instead.
Worked for me

Bought the bricks, rarely stood on the North Stand (unless Bratfud were in town)! Was nice to look at though from the carwash side! I remember one of the first times it was segregated and it rained, we were offered the chance to transfer into it. Now that caused a furore as it was a whole £1.00 cheaper to get into the carwash side!! Questions (and moans) were on here afterwards!! :D :D
Don't worry be happy!

Does nobody understand English out there? Hats off to those people who bought the bricks and the reasons they did it. Yes, it's a long time ago. Yes, things have moved on. What has that got to do with anything? How long ago it was and why they did it aren't relevant to what I'm asking. How much did people pay and how many people contributed? It's a simple question for an article I'm writing - any chance at all of an answer which doesn't go off at a tangent or has nothing whatsoever to do with what I'm asking? If I write "individual people paid a minimum of sixty quid per brick" would that be way off the mark? Simple answers to the point please would be really appreciated. Thankyou in anticipation...

Ah so finally you put your question across with some explanation as to why you are interested and what the exact information you require is?
Why didn't you ask that in the first place?
It's a topic started fairly randomly and when you are not getting the specific information, toys are being thrown?
I don't know the answer exactly , cant remember exactly! I'm guessing it may have been £50ish but that may have been just me.

Happy to help :D

In English.

Yup, definitely £10. I don't think I got my certificate or name up though.

Please accept my apologies, I didn't buy a brick and I have no idea how much they cost.

Send me ten pounds and I’ll let you sponsor my brick, salvaged from the original North Stand. I’ll even take a photo of it. You will then have a warm glow of satisfaction, knowing you’ve contributed to my alcohol fund!
