Amond is a totally a different kettle of fish!

Amond for us scored more than 10 goals in 1 season and often playing out of position or coming off the bench when we we struggling to score goals and most of us were sorry to see him go.

So then Amond dropped down a level and Banged in a impressive 30+ goals in 1 season, you could knock 10 off that total with playing in a league below for arguments sake, and say he could have been a 20 goals a season Striker played in his proper position for us in L2.

That season for Grimsby shown what we'd missed out on, like on Bullseye the 80s TV game show (This is what you could of won)

Scored for fun at Grimsby under the now Shrewsbury manager, was offered a 12mth contract extension after being named league player of the season with Grimsby but threw his dummy out because he wanted a 2yr extension. This was refused and he subsequently signed for Hartlepool on a 2yr deal. Did well once again but Hartlepool were relegated and he submitted a transfer request. It was turned down and so out went the dummy again.....getting the picture yet? In came Newport for him but there approach was refused. Same frigging dummy got dirty once again! It all went downhill until Hartlepool allowed him to leave and sign for Newport. There is a pattern which has formed their. I leave it at that.
