Commentary today will be through Radio Lancs (thank you Derek) as Grimsby Town do not have an ISDN line for I follow and couldn't care less.
No interaction with text or SVs today sorry.
We believe that it is the same starting line up as at Accrington but have yet to receive a team sheet.
Once again apologies but thank goodness for Quinny and Radio Lancs.

What a nice change to be able to say ‘dreadful defending’ and be talking about the opposition! It was a nice cross but really expected a defender to win it but they just left it to Kev, on his own, with no challenge. 0-1. More of the same please from Kev & Grimsby!

I’m guessing you’ve never been to Grimsby? 20th Centuary would be a start... and I’m talking about the entire town, not the club!

Corner in, looked like the keeper would claim it but he somehow spilled it back out for Old to score with another easy header. The locals are getting restless.

300th in all comps according to soccerbase, which is normally good at that sort of stuff

Great goal-line clearance & a superb save from Barry. They are coming at us this half. Mind you we'd expect them to attack with more purpose than in the first half.

Ten minutes or so where we totally controlled the game, lots of quick passes and Grimsby chasing shadows, but with no clear cut chances until Oliver had a long run and shot. Probably a bit easy for the keeper but good to see him looking confident.

Then they took control back for a while but again, not creating any real chances. Then we get a break, Oliver on another good run, played an excellent ball in to Kev, but his shot was well saved.

A good game, main difference between the sides, we've taken our chances, they haven't. How often have we said that this season?
