Morning folks. Going to do the best I can to follow, but I can't listen in this morning, I'm afraid; things to go, places to see, and people to do.

No... wait...

Anyway, best of luck, and up the Shrimps!

Scoreboard still not working. Has Brian found the remote yet (check down the back of the settee), or is it that we can't afford the batteries?

According to BBC stats, the goal was our first shot of the game!!! And we are certainly behind on possession - but it's goals that count. Well done "young Kev". ;) ;)

Their keeper had made a good save a few minutes earlier which had been the best chance of the game up until the goal. They were awarded what I thought was a very soft free kick on the edge of our area, that they got on target but it was an easy catch for Baz.

A bit bitty with both sides giving possession away cheaply but we’re slightly on top and deserve the lead.

The fans on the Berlin Wall are giving the ref some grief!

Ref is giving Stevenage a free kick every time they fall over  A 50:50 challenge resulted in a yellow card too. They’re coming back in to it and are perhaps slightly on top now, but the soft free kicks are helping them.

Taking a break from doing some light construction in -14C (plus windchill). That's a nice scoreline to warm up to, though!

But they have been that (dirtiest team in league) for years now. Why don't the refs wise-up???

Not called Cheatenage for nothing

Nine Morecambe fouls to three by Stevenage. Most of the free kicks 'won' (sic) by Stevenage were for falling over.

Also, they fell over about three times and didn't get a free kick. Why weren't they yellow cards? Just because they weren't in the penalty area, they were still dives. Accrington v Stevenage must be like watching Swan Lake on ice!

Lang off injured again. Poor lad is looking a bit injury prone or unlucky?

Rose off for Fleming.

Lang off injured.
Rose off with head bandaged.

Stevenage had three times as many free kicks as us.

Ref isn’t biased, just easily conned. Part of me thinks we’re too honest and we should do the same. But then I think, it must be awful to watch that crap, week in, week out.

Take it back, he’s crap and/or biased. At one point, two Morecambe players were both laying down, holding their heads, neither get a free kick. A little later, another player on the floor holding his head, nothing, their lad almost fell over the prostrate Morecambe player and they get a free kick. Just hope he doesn’t influence the game.

1-1

Probably just about deserved, but a horrible niggly, cheating side.

It was a cracking goal though.
