Thought we played well to be honest, didn't deserve the goal at the end just lack of concentration at end, unlucky not having the 3 points in my opinion.

Surprised they didn't get a penalty TBH as the ref was awful and awarded then anything and everything and ref would of given them anything at all in the box

Ref lost it in my opinion after the poor tackle on lang they did in 2nd minute and didn't book their player.
Don't think Lang shook off that knock for rest of game hence being subbed

Really poor referee that shouldn't be anywhere near the football league, a really average Stevenage falling around all over the place and a negative Shrimps side that didn't go for a second goal but rather settled on keeping a clean sheet!

Agreed thought back 3 were brilliant especially Lavelle. Should have utilised the ball better near the end to see it out.

Their goal came from a Free kick we had in the left hand corner of the pitch. Wildig asked what was he supposed to do, played a one two with McGurk and then lobbed it in to the box. Three experienced players should have kept the ball in the corner rather than give it away so cheaply.

It was a mixture of battles, a lot of hoof ball, some of the worst diving I have ever seen and a Ref who lapped it all up.

I can't see past the fact we had 7 defensive players and 3 attacking players at Home against a poor side. There was no Midfield at all, the gap between Oliver and Old was huge.

Agree totally about that tackle on Lang in second minute. He'd slipped the ball past their player out on the right but was hauled back by his shirt, then when the Cheatanage player lost his grip on the shirt he decided to hack Lang down. He was clear if that hadn't happened. Booking all day long, ref bottled it, maybe cos' it was so early in the game but he totally bottled it none the less. Thought the back three of Muller, Old, Lavelle looked solid all game and maybe we just lost out a tad in midfield, as Jim admitted in his interview they were a little better than us technically. However all in all a battling, gritty performance all over the pitch and if we continue to perform to that level there's no way we will go down. Only slight criticism was we didn't push for a second and decided to try and hold what we had. Nearly worked but that centre-half substitute put up front for route one will never hit a sweeter strike in his life. All in all very encouraging! COYS.

Watched mcgurk warm up before and he didn't miss a shot I don't think, would of liked to have seen him get more minutes today.

It's nice to see Rose find form as well as think he's played well last few games and looks to be getting back to last seasons form.

Thought levelle is starting to come strong and was solid today along with old and muller.

Thought pitch was looking bit rough today

Not the easiest game to watch by far with Stevenage up to their usual cheating tactics and a referee who was too weak to do anything about it. Neither team really threatened with both goalkeepers having a relative easy afternoon.

A draw seemed to be on the cards throughout the game and individually they had more competent and technically gifted players than ourselves. They had the majority of the play but had we not opted yet again for hoof ball we could have threatened a lot more.

Not for the first time this season an opponent seemed to be able to play it on the deck and found their men better. JImbo suggested once again that the playing surface wasn't up to playing it to feet and on the deck but they managed to do it a lot more than ourselves.

In the end a draw was about right despite Cheatingage having the majority of the play.

Once again Ben was outstanding and it can't be long if he continues to impress before the scavengers come knocking waving an under value cheque for his services. I just hope that he realises that at his age it's better to play first team football rather than sit on the bench or in some development squad at a far bigger club. Let's hope his mum and dad are able to influence over him realising that he's got a huge future ahead of him but better to learn his trade at The Globe.

If and when they do come knocking let's hope that the Board insist on at least £250,000 for him as that is what we should demand for a player with such potential at his age. Even £400,000 isn't unreasonable when you look at what some players are going for these days.

A terrible performance today, just hoofing the ball as high and far as possible all game.A fine example as to why we have lost so many fans. And then we decide to sit back in the second half instead of going for a second goal. Two points dropped that may prove to be so important, jim never learns and the players have not learned how to manage the last few minutes, the free kick we had deep in Stevenage territory was amateurish beyond belief, the ball should have been kept in the corner, poor!

It might be harsh but more than an element of truth in that observation......sad but true on today's performance that has been replicated too often which must beg the question as to why..... :?: :?: :?:

Did well for 75 minutes, then the pain of all the dives , injuries, boots to the head and Stevenage players falling over took their toll.
Looked pained in last 10 minutes, Kev was spent as were others.
Good point in the end, but should have been 3 although if there was another 10 minutes we would probably have lost
Enjoy yourself.... It is later than you think

"Once again Ben was outstanding" according to CC. Did you mean son of Ben, CC? If not, then who are you referring to? :D

Thought it was another dire performance though we almost got away with it! Yesterday looked more like a final preseason friendly than a fighting for survival scrap. Too much defensive play in the second half allowing cheatenage all the pitch to pass around us on! How come every team that comes to the globe seems to have more players on the pitch than us? All the time in the world to pass to each other on the horrible surface we don't use? All we do is hoof it as far as we can (which isn't far). In the end we should be glad we got a point! Thanks to cheatenage for being almost as poor as us despite the referee trying to help them as much as possible! Are we going to have a go at Luton next week or just sit back, keep it tight, and get thrashed??
Don't worry be happy!
