12 hours, four (four? don't remember) beers later, that was an unfortunate result. Sounded like we did pretty good, all things considered, just fell victim to the late-minute, witching hour. Again. Hang in there, lads! Stand tall! Things can get better.

Great effort by the team yesterday. They gave everything and had so many chances to get something. The lads were absolutely knackered at the final whistle.

Its being said after a lot of games recently about the number of chances that have been wasted or not been powerful or clinical enough . We need a goal grabber urgently to put some points on the board and get us out of the relegation zone before its too late. 11 shots yesterday and only 4 on target is a guideline as to where we have a problem . I know there is no easy fix without a fat cheque book but we need to stay in this league or the club will be worth a lot less than it is now . :(

Lang could do the job if he stays fit. I think a real 'goal grabber' is going to be beyond our means.
Anyone know whether Callum will be fit for Tuesday?

Yes i agree if he stays fit and we play quality balls to his feet so he can turn defenders and have a crack , not hit and hope balls like we play to Oliver's head and he flicks on to nobody. That's another problem in that we don't play 2 up front often enough so they get an understanding with each other and create space for each other.

Sadly football isn't just about playing well, it's about scoring more than the opposition and this season that hasn't happened enough. If we continue to scorn chances we will drop into serious trouble.

Agree, would happily settle for a run of scrappy wins than play attractive football

Hope this doesn't come true, but not scoring enough goals is a ready made recipe for relegation.

Just watched the highlights.....can't believe that we didn't come away with at the very least a point.

Surely our luck has to change soon. :?: :?: :?:

What it did show for me is that we can play superb stuff when we get it down and play it on the deck. I watch our opponents at home manage to play on the deck but we simply don't. I wonder if it is because we've got a big man up top that all our home play is towards him. If so then it's criminal the way that he hasn't got a partner alongside and I have to put that down to Jim and Co's tactics at home.

We tried hard to get a point but lacked the quality or luck to get it, especially as Luton really were there for the taking!
