Lets get our tactics right

Lets get our tactics right

Please could someone explain our tactical substitutions today. We took off Lang who was our only goal threat and then we took Kenyon, the sponsors man of the match, off and replace him with a winger. I found the substitutions unfathomable. Meanwhile, Vadaine Oliver was allowing himself to be bullied by his marker and contributing very little. Lets leave aside "little old Morecambe" and the shortage of funds. We have to do the best we can with the current resources. Performances like today's question our tactical approach to games. Am I alone also in wondering if we are fit enough? Other teams seem to have more running in them in the final stages of games and the points we concede in the final stages of games could cost us dearly.

Couldn't agree more. Today and other home games we need to ask questions of our tactics. Unfortunately the manager is never challenged on the radio or in the press. Difficult I know to ask those awkward questions but we need explanations not excusess

Put a microphone in front of him and it's the same old same old. He gets ask one question and that's it for the next 5 minutes Fans want answers to questions that may cause him problems not what we get week in week out

There was no falling out around us today - everyone was gob-smacked and shocked with the substitutions. Even the usual Jim's fan club were critical!

The harsh reality is that if we don't win the majority if not all of our remaining home games, we are going to fall through the league trap door. Hooking your star forward when you need a goal is the cardinal sin.

Just wish we could go back to basics, have Jim beating his chest like we know he can and go and play like a team desperate to stay in the footy league.
