I thought he was awful, he allowed Oliver to be roughed up all game and did anyone else notice when on two of the times we won a free kick he only paced out 9 steps for the wall whilst he paced 10 for Mansfields, blatant cheating from the ref and I hope it gets reported. Maybe he struggles with counting to 10.

We were counting all the free kicks, 9 was the max, most 8, and he was taking short strides...f.. basic isn't it...he was awful today...they were assaulting Oliver every set piece...and the two liners were an even bigger waste of space...assistant referees my a.....BUT I don't think we can really blame the ref for the result, poor tactics, giving the ball away at every opportunity.....Oliver was terrible and Kev had one of his worse games......too many below par performances again....

The ref was poor and allowed Mansfield to bully us. For all his height Vadaine Oliver doesn't want to know if he is being roughed up. It's time to ditch the hoof ball to him.

He does win the ball in the air sometimes , but never knows which direction the ball is going to go! Long balls in chennels he can't get with his lack of pace, always wants to take an extra touch before shooting too. H e did have a good turn and shot in the first half yesterday, but other than that offers little. He loked fantastic against Coventry! One good game in how many doesn't a striker make. The ref was poor but we are so easily brushed off the ball or dispossessed.

BUT I don't think we can really blame the ref for the result...

Blame him for the first goal, where there was [yet another] foul on Oliver. Should have been a free-kick to us on the half-way line, with no danger.

The ref was shocking, and it was epitomised in Oliver. I'd love it if someone had footage of the late corner we had. Vadaine had their No.5's arms around his waist all the way into the box and was finally hauled to the ground just as he was about to make contact with the ball. No foul. It would be great to ask PGMOL how they can justify giving him another football league match to officiate after Saturday's performance.

However, I have to say I'm disappointed Jim didn't take him off. It was obvious from half time that the ref wouldn't give Oliver anything, yet Jim left him on to be fouled, give away fouls and just get more and more frustrated. His confidence will be shot after that, and someone like McGurk sits on the bench whilst our top scorer (being played out of position) gets hauled off looking gutted that he's not seeing out the game. Sorry, but Callum's body language didn't support the post-match justification that he was in some way not fit enough to play the whole 90.

A bad day at the office for the ref and a bad day at the office for Jim. Altogether very frustrating!
