Penalties

Penalties

Having watched Match Of The Day and seen some of the penalties given this weekend in the Premiership, the pundits declared that referees were cracking down on shirt tugging / man handling in the penalty area (penalties awarded at Anfield and Selhurst Park to name two), these were nothing like as bad as the treatment Vadaine Oliver received from the Mansfield defenders in the recent home loss.
I , and fans all around us could not believe we were not awarded at least two penalties in the second half when he was literally dragged to the ground by his shirt !
The inconsistency is the most annoying part of this scenario where some refs will give them , others just completely ignore them ???

I think with us it is more than inconsistent refereeing. It often appears to be biased decision making in favour of the big teams in League 2. Is that the way referees progress as "little old Morecambe" has little influence?
