So which Company do we owe enough to, to make them do this, or is it the PFA or more likely HMRC?

Our Directors at the same time last year chipped in £40K to stop it

I would say that it's the HMRC pushing this as its normally them who push these to go through so bet we owe them money.

It's normally when a large creditor wants their money to force the company into paying or states it can't pay so should be wound up or means to start the process of doing that.
Is it the case of waiting for Abdul to bail us out again? Or is he getting pissed off with the club keeping asking for money.
New buyers have not been mentioned in ages and all seems to have gone very quiet.

Shame the club doesn't come out and tell us information but then again why change now!!!

Can't see it being an hoax on a Goverment web page, you click on that Goverment link and 141 Morecambe FC are there as with many others.

The process for a winding up procedure is to go to the courts first, apply for a WUP and serve that to the company (i.e. if you don't pay we will follow through). This is then published in the London Gazette and the notice of action shows against the company on Companies House.

This isn't a hoax. Equally it might just be a rather annoyed creditor who has got fed up of waiting for their money.

As stated elsewhere, it's happened before and we're still here.
