Is it that bad over there? We've had some rain on this island but not enough to water-log a pitch. Now what am I going to do with my afternoon :? :? :?

Stopped raining now! My garden floods when we have a lot of rain, not flooded today. You can watch your homemade half-time pie cook!

That's bad news.
More unnecessary expense and income loss for the club.

We had a lot of rain on Wednesday which took a long time to drain away due to the pitch being still partially frozen beneath the surface from earlier in the week, I believe.
Apparently the pitch was looking ok yesterday but the rain in the last few hours and the projected rainfall for the rest of the day has obviously tipped it over the edge.

I'm Glad in a way.

Could well be a Blessing in Disguise, if Chesterfield had of beaten us, it could of kick started their fight against relegation, Hopefully their poor form will continue and they'll lose even more ground and give us more breathing space and daylight between us both, for when we do play each other.

Plus it would have been double the pressure going into the FGR game if we'd lost this.

Way I see it anyway. :|

Still raining here in Storth.

I'm actually pleased it's off as conditions would have dictated the way we would have played and that would have been hoof ball which would have been detrimental to such an important game.

Let's play it when the conditions are far more favourable and conducive to football played mainly on the deck.

Mother in law will be pleased as it means I will have to take her shopping..... :( :( :(

She'd already made it before we heard it was off!!! We're having pie for tea now. She baked a loaf of bread too she's a grand little lady!

Shame FGR game was off too, could have been an advantage if we'd had extra rest for next week.

Mmmm! It would have been more pressure on us if FGR had won.

Could have done without Barnet's last minute winner.

Port Vale got tonked 5-1 and are within reach.

If we can get above Grimsby I will think we have a real chance to be safe. They are an awful team in freefall with no win in 12 games.

Massive last minute winner from Barnet who I hope don’t gain some momentum now. Added pressure on us for the next few games AT LEAST.

If you look at league 1, Oldham, Rochdale and bury are all in the relegation zone, if they came down and we stayed up, that would boost our crowd for three games

Anybody know when the rearranged game might be?

Hopefully a Tuesday night, I am usually off. Disappointing there hasn't been many evening games post new year, def want to try and catch a home league game before the end of the season.

Sadly, if it is on a mid-week night which it most likely will be it will drop the crowd figure by a couple of hundred, and it will certainly affect the away following.

We still get extra rest don't forget it is a near full fixture list on Tuesday night. Stevenage will give them a physical encounter and I hope Boro win especially as technically we won't have a game in hand on them as Accy is a certain loss.

Atleast one MFC stalwart got to watch a game of Football yesterday, the giant steward (7ft guy) was infront of us at Livesey branch road McDonalds before heading over the road to the Rovers V Latics match.

If it's the 7ft one checking Tickets outside the W&L, sure he use to be a Goalkeeper, worth knowing if Barry Roche gets injured in an emergency!
