So, is "the Veegs" an appropriate nickname for Forest Green?

Forest Green, the better of two very poor sides. :?

We’re in a relegation battle, it would be nice to see some battle.

I've placed a (modest) bet on Shrimps still pulling off a 2-1 upset here. Come on, lads. Get in there.

Lucky you. No home games on when I was in Morecambe last September.

To be honest, the trip was planned around the fixture. Everything else fell into place.

Well, I lost $2, but I'll take the point. Have a good one, folks! I'm off to the bar and, believe it or not, our local UK import shop.

Much better second half, shame we didn’t start like that. A lovely goal to equalise. Very important point.

We start with seven defensive players against a team that concede goals, Fleming on the bench when he is our best midfielder, we bring in a winger with pace and play him in the hole, take off Lavelle but leave Winnard on, lets be honest Wylde's shot should have been saved by their keeper so we got out of jail today.

We had a lot of time to prepare for this match though you certainly wouldn't have thought so judging by our first half performance if we are going to stay up then there will have to be a big improvement and not just by the team.

Utterly dismal. I really cannot fathom what goes through Jim's head when he picks the starting 11. We're playing with two CMs and lining three men up top sitting on FGR's defence so we need to be able to shuttle the ball from defence to attack. How do we do that? NOT WITH ROSE AND KENYON! I am sick to death of this, it's a CM combo that has literally no ability to move the ball up the pitch and attack. We NEED Fleming in there to carry the ball and string some passes and get some bloody movement in there. Kenyon is just a complete oaf and should only be played in a three man midfield as a defensive screen as he has no ability to play the ball. I like Rose but we have to be realistic with his abilities, lovely passer of the ball but he's 34/35 so obviously, has slightly limited mobility. Yes we create a big massive defensive block but we constantly lose the ball every time we turn over possession and no matter how good our defence we will inevitably concede if we can't keep the ball. Our pressing from the front three was shocking and there was no coordination, it was a complete mess. As previously mentioned about Wylde, he was being forced into the centre of the park where he didn't have a clue.

McGurk's second half introduction helped us as he came and offered a link between defence and attack a bit more but my god, he's a bloody striker who we're forcing into the middle of the park to ferry the ball! What a joke. The game was screaming for Fleming to add some spark to our lifeless midfield.

We scrambled a point because, stupidly, FGR decided to sit on their one goal lead. They were playing neat passing football and were dancing rings around our midfield and could probably have nabbed one or two more had they kept up their attacking style.

We can’t seem to pass the ball to each other, we seem to rely on hoofball and that just gives possession back to the opposition. Winnard seemed to hoof everything today..... wylde had a poor game then scored and got MOM. I won’t mention the ref.... :o

Awful negative tactics against a team in and around you. 7 defensive players, same old Hoofball and strange subbing of Lavelle. If Winnard is a better CB than Lavelle in Jim's Eyes, we are more screwed than i thought.

We looked ok when Wylde went out wide and got to the byeline but I am sure Jim sees him as a full back after that.

Got out of jail is bang on. We should have smashed them.

One positive was 1,352 home supporters in a gate of 1,447.

That's an improvement on recent games.
