That's an improvement on recent games.

I put that down to no Premier League Fixtures so we probably had a few extra Sky Sports Suppoters who made a rare appearance.

Concerned we played so much of the ball up in the air, I know the pitch started to cut up badly but we struggled to win anything in the air so why continue to play it high. They played it on the floor quite a bit so why can't we?
Thought first half we were shocking along with first 20 mins of second half then we kicked into life a bit.
I agree the game missed Fleming input as I don't rate Kenyon in midfield, too slow and sloppy for me.
Thought Oliver was poor but would have changed him earlier than we did.
Thought Wylde wanted to impress but at times his positioning was way out however his strike was hit with some power and looked to swerve slightly which in my opinion stopped the keeper from making a save

Thought we were lucky TBH and need to show some fighting spirit, our training situation surely can't be helping us though so think it's going to be squeaky bum time till end if season

I agree we were lucky to get a point today and if we play like that from now until the end of the season then we might be in trouble. How he keeps leaving mcgurk on the bench behind Oliver is beyond me. And out of the 3 centre halves he brings Lavelle off? He really does baffle me sometimes Jim. Let’s just hope we keep bettering chesterfields results.

We had a lot of time to prepare for this match though you certainly wouldn't have thought so judging by our first half performance if we are going to stay up then there will have to be a big improvement and not just by the team.

I was going to post the same Steve. 7 defensive players at home when we need wins is terrible. If we started with the team that finished, with or without Fleming, we would have won. Losing patience with hoofball Jim now.

How many games left do you think it will be until we are safe? If at all. It's going to go down to the last home game imo.

Not a bad point, considering that Forest Green have strengthened their team considerably, and we haven't. It makes it basically essential to beat Chesterfield now though.

Wylde looked rusty, losing the ball several times and looking like he didn't know what position he was playing. Yet he was still our main attacking threat and clearly has ability.

I wasn't sold by Thommo, albeit he got the assist. McGurk looked good and must start the next game, possibly with Flemo in there as well.

Kevin and Vadaine surely need to be rested. Yes kevin still scores the odd goal but scoring one goal in every 5 games in which he's otherwise totally ineffective doesn't seem justification to keep him in the starting 11 so consistently.

Chesterfield on 10th April. Win it, we'll be safe, lose we'll be in real trouble.

Grimsby are falling like a stone but are probably just about far enough clear of the bottom two and I think we will end up above them, so I think we'll be fourth from bottom. Chesterfield & Barnet going down.

Hopefully

So how did that work out then?

Barnet have had a couple of good results of late, but it was 'as you where' with them after Accy did us a favour yesterday.

No doubt we'll say thank you in our forthcoming game with the usual Crown Ground result....

Well, one good turn deserves another  Except when it involves giving points to Accy ;)
