Injuries

Postby Teams like Morecambe » Mon Feb 19, 2018 9:13 pm

Two weeks ago we played Port Vale with a depleted squad. On Friday The Visitor published the following article:

https://www.thevisitor.co.uk/sport/foot ... -1-9018600

It claims we had a fully fit squad for the Forest Green match with Max Muller being the only absentee due to family commitments. Bentley is quoted as saying "everyone was fit for the Chesterfield game". This tells us Roche and Lang missed Port Vale, were back for Chesterfield then got injured again before FGR with Wildig picking up an injury between The Visitor interwith with Jim (Thursday?) and Saturday. None of this sounds believable. Does anyone know the actual situation with these injuries?

Either the information Jim has given has been inaccurately reported or he has deliberately given false information (mind games).

Wasn't it reported that there'd been no training last week due to Turners' field flooding and the college pitches being booked up for half term? So if there was no training, how did so many players get injured during the week?

They've been doing quite a bit of keepy uppy and head tennis under the stands. Seen videos where they've been crashing in to dustbins, bollards and other solid objects
Enjoy yourself.... It is later than you think
